(sent on August 20, 2002)

Name
of the beach: Lenga FKK
Location of the beach: Lumbarda, the island
of Korcula
How to get there: The beach is app. 1 km
to the east from the
Lumbarda centre. Going by foot, some 15 minutes
from the centre you'll reach an intersection where
you can turn left of right to sandy textile beaches
(named 'Bili Zal' and 'Przina'), but just follow
the road straight ahead. When you get to the pine
forest, turn to the left to the shore. There is
also a lot of parking space and the road goes on
to the easternmost part of the Korcula island (another
half a km or so).

Description:
The beach is in fact a rocky part of the shore with
no facilities whatsoever. It is in fact _very_ rocky
and finding a level spot can be a problem. Water
is, on the other hand, crystal clear and the sea
bottom is very nice. There's plenty of space but
there also was a lot of people present (relatively
speaking - every 5 meters or so). You can find some
shade from the pine trees above the shore. The beach
is marked as 'FKK Lenga' on the map in the city
centre, but unfortunately there are no markings
on the beach itself, and in the time we were there
it was also visited by textiles (irritating - beats
me why bother coming so far and staying dressed...?).
Then again, there were nudist families and couples
for the most part.
Thanks
