In den Sommerferien '97 haben wir unseren lange
geplanten Kajaktraum erfüllt: Paddeln auf glasklaren
Meerwasser an der sonnigen Adriaküste... überhaupt
ist FKK in Istrien entlang der gesamten Küste
sehr populär. überall abseits der Städte wird
nackt gebadet, einige Küstenabschnitte sind offiziell
dafür ausgewiesen und ein Drittel der Campingplätze
sind für Naturisten eingerichtet. Man kann das
bei einer solchen Tour entlang der Küste nicht
übersehen und insofern bringt man entweder die
notwendige Toleranz mit oder macht am besten selber
mit. Uns ist es sowieso lieber, auf nasse Badebekleidung
zu verzichten und Luft und Sonne an den Körper
zu lassen.

"On Croatia's
Istrian peninsula one is never very far from a
naturist beach, campsite, large complex or camping
grounds. The FKK sign is ubiquitous. In fact,
nudism is so tolerated here, it is difficult to
find a textile beach. Enterprising backpackers,
tired of the Greek scene, are now to be found
mooching about the peninsula in the summer for
Croatia is cheap and very laid back."

is beautifully laid out and immaculately kept
with plenty of trees and shrubs to provide shade
if required. Most of the permanent caravans had
colourful gardens which added to the delight of
the place."
