Description:
This year I had my holidays close to Dubrovnik,
with a couple of friends.
We took some rooms in Mlini, very cheap, clean and
comfortable with the city by bus. We knew there
was a nudist beach in Mlini, close to Hotel Astarea,
so we parked our car at the hotel, and quietly walked
the inner path to the left side of the coast. After
few minutes we reached a nice place, a couple of
small bays of pebbles and cement, as always, with
a fresh water spring close to the beach, where you
can take a fresh shower after swimming. There is
a small dock so you can reach the beach also by
boat. The restaurant is now closed an in part destroyed
and it?s not fair... People use the restaurant terrace
and all the cement paths to lay down. The water
is really clean and we found few people even if
it was august.

Description:
Mostly rocky, with a small shingle beach. A bar
and facilities for hiring umbrellas and sun-loungers
seem to open for a few hours. We were amused to
see the enterprise of a local boat owner-cum-fruit
and veggie stall who appeared one day we were there
early September to sell his produce. Once he made
his sales, he too stripped off and enjoyed the sun!

Description:
A small pebble beach and facilities out of concrete.
A real nice spirit among the guests.
Mlini is situated 8kms (5 miles) south of Dubrovnik
in southern Dalmatia, along the road to the airport.
The
naturist beach can only be reached by foot or by
boat. There is a road from the harbour in Mlini
to the south along the sea, passing the Hotel Astarea.
At the end of this road there is a footpath to the
beach. The walk takes about 15 minutes. If you want
to take the boat you just contact coffe bar "Hogar"
in the harbour. Or call the owner Nikola on 098-880
900. You can park your car at the harbour in Mlini
or at Hotel Astarea. In the high season there can
be problems to find a parking place. But they are
nothing compared to what you can encounter around
the Old Town in Dubrovnik.
There
is a small pebble beach out there. But most people
are enjoying the sun at the concrete area close
to the small restaurant. There is also a good place
for snorkelling just outside the area.
The place has been closed for some years due to
lack of tourists after the war. But now when they
are returning back to Croatia, the owner Nikola
is renovating it to what it once was. There is a
staircase to get out of the very salt water and
a fresh water shower. If there is no water for the
moment, you just call the staff at the restaurant
to stop dishing for a while, as you are using the
same water pipe...
The
restaurant is today only serving one dish per day.
But every day there is a new one. If you want something
else, you just call the owner or talk to him the
day before, and he will try to arrange it for you.
What I liked the most about this place is the familiar
spirit there. The owner and the family working there
are really taking care of their guests. The sea is
crystal clear and you´ve got a nice, tanning sun
all day until sunset. But when it is as hottest
in the mid day, everbody is gathering at the restaurant
or under the huge pine tree. If you want a friendly
and private naturist beach, this is the place you´re
looking for.
