How to get there:
Catch one of the boats running every 30 mins from the old harbour to Lokrum once on the island walk from the jetty up a small hill then bear left at fork (FKK sign points this way) walk along footpath passing public toilets on right until you reach a number of signs indicating nude beach FKK. Walk down hill past drinks kiosk.

Description:
When you get off the boat there is a kiosk that sells sponge mats, be sure to purchase one because the nudist beach is just huge rocks so can be uncomfatable, this was our first time of going to a nude beach and I was surprised at the number of ppl who keep clothes on untill they choose a spot to sun bathe, most of whom just take a look around then leave, but it didnt put us off and we will certainly go again.

Description:
This year I had my holidays close to Dubrovnik,
with a couple of friends, and Lokrum was one of
our targets. The Lokrum Island is easy to reach
from the old city of Dubrovnik every 30 minutes
till 8 PM.
The nudist part (the left part of the island) is
very large and quiet (even in August!), and the
water is wonderful...large rocks and easy access
to the sea, and most of all few boats. In the middle
of the path to the nudist part u can find a small
bar, during the day, and a shower, but I didn?t
try if it still works. It was very hot to stay on
the rocks the whole day, but just above the rocks
you'll find some nice places to rest a while for
a slumber in the shade and a lot of paths in the
bush to cross the island. The gay beach is, as always,
at the end of the rocks, just before a wonderful
water canyon with unbelievable water colours.
A small paradise! Keep it clean and enjoy!

Description:
Large sections of rock which you must be careful
with when walking about. Well secluded but not much
shade. Accessing the water is tricky due to uneven
rocks although some steps have been built between
some rocks to improve movement. Once you find a
nice spot it can be quite pleasant. Everyone nude
and you can walk back up to kiosk any time for a
drink and sit at one of the shaded tables in the
nude.

Description:
Rocky promontory, seems quite a good size. Well
used, no shade until well after lunchtime (end or
August). Flat enough for reasonable comfort, mostly
naturist, apart from a few (single?) men, who seem
reluctant to strip off!

How to get there: Board the regularly scheduled
boats from the old harbor near the arsenal on the
east side of Dubrovnik. Once you arrive take the
walking trail to the left and make a stop at the
toilet if you need to ;). Proceed on past the sign
that clearly states Nude Beach, No Cameras!

Description:
The Lokrum FKK has two sides to it-the good and
the odd. The great thing is that everyone is without
clothes, almost all of the shingles are smoothed
by concrete and getting into the water is made easier
by the addition of many ladders into the sea. The
“other-side” is the handful of individuals who were
there everyday lurking around and either staring
or making sure that you saw that. It also had a
little bit of a male pickup event, while subtle
it was quite obvious with various individuals posing
for admiring onlookers. Most of this occurred near
the end of the beach. It is also on the path of
every tourist boat that goes by slowly with cameras
snapping. Even though these things happen I wouldn’t
discourage anyone from using this beach because
there are plenty of comfortable places to be oblivious
to what is going on.
