Donji Bili Bok naturist beach

Name of the beach: Donji Bili Bok
Location of the beach: Proizd island, near Vela Luka on Korcula island

Submitted on Aug 14, 2007 by: Brian Lloyd, Merseyside, England

How to get there: Take the taxi boat from Vera Luka Harbour. This only costs 30 Kunas return but it is quite a long boat ride and uncomfortable if the sea is rough.
Walk through the restaurant and follow the path to a junction. Go left for 5 minutes and go left again when the sign for FKK Donji Bili Bok is seen.
Another few minutes you arrive at a wonderful cove of exquisite emerald turqouise water.

Description:

All I can say is FANTASTIC.
This was by miles the best location for naturism on the whole island of Korcula.
It had a large white pebble beach, crystal clear water and all but 2 people naked out of 16.
I would have loved to go more often back but the journey from Korcula Town was simply too long and tiring. You need to be staying in Vela Luka.

Thanks Brian Lloyd for the report.

How to get there: From Vela Luka you can take a ship to Proizd Island, which runs three times a day from the pier by the fuel station. After getting off on the Proizd Island you have to go left, following signs "Donji Bili Bok".

Description:

This is a pebble beach with no facilities at all (there is a rastaurant on the island located in an around 15 min. walk distance from the beach). The beach is very nice - in my oppinion it is the most beautiful beach in the area. Unfortunatelly during high season it is often visited also by nonnaturists (especially when the weather is hot and there are lots of people on the whole island). The most advantage of the beach is that there are no sharp rocks and sea urchins in the water so you can run into the water without shoes.

Thanks visitor for the report and a photo.
