Description:
Blace beachOur first view was of an idyllic lagoon with a deserted 500 metres sandy beach like something from the Caribbean. Sadly on closer inspection parts of the beach were spoilt by the amount of rubbish washed in from the sea along with small pieces of tar. That said, we still found a clear area of beach to use and two days in a row we had the beach to ourselves.
Apparently, the local authority periodically clear it up. This could be one of Europe's finest beaches if it was looked after. Of course the danger might be if it ever became too commercilised.

Thanks Heathcliff and Catherine for this report and the photo of the beach.
